Dudek Run & Fly 2
Test, first impressions and product sheet
The new version of Dudek's Run & Fly offers a marked improvement, making it more accessible to pilots who are just starting out, while remaining the lightest single-skin glider on the market. The Flyeo team is taking to the skies with it.
We were very impressed when Dudek brought out the first Run & Fly. At the time, single skins were already light and compact, but Dudek had managed a tour de force by bringing out a glider weighing less than 1 kilogram. We've been waiting impatiently for the second version.

Video test and first flight
Malin Lobb, our chief instructor, owned the first version of the Run & Fly. He tested the second iteration for us after hiking up to take off and gives us his impressions.
What is it for and Flyeo flygram
This lightweight, compact single skin is ideal for all mountain activities where downhill flying is the icing on the cake.
Flyeo classifies this glider in the Hike & Fly DOWN quadrant for beginners and intermediates on the flygram.
If you're a keen mountain hiker, trail runner or even rock climber, but like to finish your activity with a paragliding flight downhill, this glider, which weighs in at around a kilogram and has a packing volume of just a few liters, will delight you!
Who is the Run & Fly 2 for?
We would have hesitated to recommend the first iteration of this paraglider to beginners or pilots with little experience. But improvements across most features on this new version means that we can extend our recommendation.
The glider is easier to prepare, thanks to its risers and lines that are easier to organise on the ground, take-off is simpler, the glider rises more easily, and in flight, there is no longer any need to constantly apply the brakes to keep a good profile.
That's why a pilot who is just starting out but shows aptitude, with a few flights under his belt, should find it quick to get the hang of.
What's more, this single-surface glider remains ideal for all intermediate and advanced pilots who want the lightest glider for descending after their mountain activity of choice.
What's unique about it and what has been improved?
Undeniably, the fact that the Run & Fly 2 weighs 940 grams in size 14 and 1040 in size 16 is a unique advantage, as it is still, to this day, the lightest paraglider on the market.
However, the competition is moving fast, with the Skywalk Pace for example starting at 1050 grams in size 16 while being certified EN-B.
We noticed that the lines are much easier to organise on the ground during the preparation phase, which is much appreciated.
What's more, as Malin pointed out in the test video, optimisation of their length provided a better-calibrated line set that no longer requires you to hold the brakes in flight. In calm air, you can just fly with your hands up or without holding the brakes at all, letting the glider fly itself.
